1941556 - Error Message "Service call failed. Report an incident" While Migrating Open Sales Order

Symptom

When you try to migrate Open Sales Order, system throws below error message(s):

Service call failed; report an incident.

Create not possible; source object inconsistent

Product ID does not exist

Schedule line type 1 is not valid

Jurisdiction code missing in address of Account ABC

Jurisdiction code missing in address of Business Partner XYZ.

Jurisdiction code missing in location address of role Ship To Location

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to the Overview view.
  3. Find the Migration of Open Sales Orders activity.
  4. Select Migrate open sales orders using the migration tool.
  5. Select the file.
  6. Execute Migration Step by Step.

Resolution

Error Messages:

Product ID does not exist
Schedule line type 1 is not valid

The cause for this issue is that there are some Services in the Migration Template are not present in the system.

So, resolve the above error messages for the affected Sales Order, ensure that you have entered valid Service which exist in your system.

Error Messages:

Jurisdiction code missing in address of Account ABC

Jurisdiction code missing in address of Business Partner XYZ.

Jurisdiction code missing in location address of role Ship To Location

The cause for the above issue is that the respective Account, Business Partner and the address of Ship To is not maintained.

To fix this issue, please maintain the Jurisdiction code for the respective Account and Business Partner.

After correct this above information for the respective Sales Order, Please try to migrate this Migration file.
