1929912 - Configure Output Channel for Dunning Letter per Company

When configuring the output channel determination rule for Dunning Letter, you want the system to determine the output channel per company, but it seems that the system doesn't offer this option.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center, and choose the Input and Output Management view.
2. Select the Output Channel Selection subview.
3. Set Show Rules For as Dunning Letter.
4. Choose New to open the Create Output Channel Rule page.

You can see that under Parameter Settings, there is only Dunning Strategy.

In order to set the system to determine Dunning Letter Output Channel based on company, follow the steps below:

1.  First of all, create a specific Dunning Strategy, and assign it to a company.
1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select your project and click on Open Activity List.
4. Go to Fine-Tune phase and open Dunning Strategies activity.
5. Choose Edit Dunning Strategies.
6. Choose Add Row to create a new dunning strategy, and then choose Save and Close.
7. After that, choose Assign Dunning Strategy to Company/Customer/Supplier.
8. Assign the dunning strategy just created to the desired company.
2. After that, maintain output channel per dunning strategy.
1. Go to the Application and User Management work center, and choose the Input and Output Management view.
2. Select the Output Channel Selection subview.
3. Set Show Rules For as Dunning Letter.
4. Choose New to open the Create Output Channel Rule page.
5. Specify the Output Channel,and select the dunning strategy just created from the Dunning Strategy drop-down list.

In this way, you manage to assign Output Channel per Company, though indirectly.
