The following errors are seen when trying to rehire a terminated employee:

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Personnel Administration work center.
- Go to Regular Task view.
- Select Rehire Employee.
- From the value help select a terminated employee.
- Fill required fields.
- Select the Save button.
The cause for the issue is that the Hire Date chosen is on or before the Last Termination Date of the employee. This is logically not possible.
The rehire date used should be after the Last Termination Date of the employee. Please correct the same and rehire.
In a case when the employee was initially hired with wrong Work Agreement, Organizational Assignment, etc., and you want to correct them the options we propose would be the following:
- Re-hire can be made effective one day post the termination date. With this the new work agreement can be assigned to the same employee.
- The other option would be create a new employee with a new ID and work agreement effective the same date.
