1760130 - Deviating Holiday Calendar Not Displayed in Employee's Time File

Symptom

Since FP 3.5 you, as a time administrator, can maintain employee's Public Holiday Calendar which deviates from the one in Working Day Calendar defined in employee's org unit of Business Residence. But you cannot see the deviating holiday calendar in employee's time file.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Select the Work view.
  3. Open the respective Complete Time Data (hire) task.
  4. Go to step 2 Define Work Schedule.
  5. Select Deviating Holiday Calendar in Holiday Calendar Assignment.
  6. You can set public holiday calendar here.

Then you want to check the Public Holiday Calendar in employee's time file:

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Select the Employees view.
  3. Select the respective employee and the Edit button.
  4. Go to the Time Profile tab. There is no field to show the defined Deviating Holiday Calendar.

Resolution

This is system designed behavior. You can see employee's Deviating Holiday Calendar as follows:

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Select the Regular Tasks view.
  3. Select the Maintain Deviating Holiday Calendar link.

Or

  1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
  2. Select the Employees view.
  3. Select the respective employee.
  4. Select Maintain Deviating Holiday Calendar in the Actions button.
