The Confirmation Journal report provides the characteristics Original Document ID, Reference Document ID and Conf.ID.
You notice that the navigation targets for above characteristics are not always available. For example, you try to find the navigation target for a particular Original Document ID by clicking on the triangular next to the ID but the message No navigation targets available is displayed.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Work Center Physical Inventory
- Go the View Reports > Lists
- Find the Confirmation Journal report and open it
- In the report display the characteristics Original Document ID, Reference Document ID and Conf.ID
- Try to navigate to any of the documents by clicking on the triangular next to the ID
You might receive the message No navigation targets available.
The Confirmation Journal report navigation always works in accordance to the Document type available in the previous column of the reporting.
For example, you might have the Reference Document type followed by the Reference Document ID in the Rows section and thus when clicking on the Ref Doc ID in the reporting Display Reference Document Details is displayed which navigates to the document itself. But if the Document Type is missing before the actual document ID then the message No navigation targets available is displayed under the document ID.
In order to be able to navigate to a document ID make sure you have the characteristic document type displayed just before the document ID. For example, you need to display
Original Document Type previous to Original Document ID
Reference Document Type previous to Reference Document ID
Conf.Document Type previous to Conf.ID
