1706630 - Crystal Reports 2011 close when attempting to create a report based off a Universe that uses contexts

• When creating a report off a Universe, Crystal Reports close unexpectedly
• When attempting to create a report off a Universe that use context, Crystal Reports 2011 generates an application exception error, and close unexpectedly
• It is possible to create report off other Universes

• Crystal Reports 2011

1. In the Universe Designer, create a Universe with contexts
2. In Crystal Reports 2011, create a report off a Universe with contexts
3. In the Query Panel, add objects from the Universe that will use a context, then click: OK
4. When prompted by the SQL context window, select a context, and click: OK
5. Crystal Reports will generate the following error:

6. Once you click OK, Crystal Reports will close unexpectedly.

• The issue occurs only when objects added trigger the use of a context defined in the Universe.
• The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01630487

• The issue is resolved in Patch 2.16 of Crystal Reports 2011
