1661501 - Unable to set the relative position of the table relative to the section in a Web Intelligence report

• Unable to set the relative position of the table relative to the section in BI 4.0
• Section is not an available option when setting the relative position of a cell or table in a Web Intelligence report
• This include WebI Rich Client, WebI DHTML client (web viewer in Design mode) and WebI Rich Internet Application (Java Report Panel)

• SAP Business Intelligence Platform BI 4.0
• Web Intelligence

1. Launch WebI Rich Client or edit mode via BI LaunchPad (WebI Rich Internet Application)
2. Create report based on eFashion
3. Drag objects Year, Quarter, Month, Quantity sold
4. Set Year as a Section
5. Insert new blank table in the Year section
6. Remove the section, while removing the section it will ask for the confirmation for the remove then click on 'No'
7. Drag Year dimension in the blank table along with the Quantity sold, so that Quantity sold becomes a second column for this new table
8. Set Quarter as a Section
9. Insert new blank table in the Quarter section
10. Remove the section, while removing the section it will ask for the confirmation for the remove then click on 'No'
11. Drag Quarter dimension in the blank table. Also drag the Quantity sold, so that Quantity sold becomes a second column for this new table
12. Set Month as a Section
13. Insert new blank table in the Month section
14. Remove the section, while removing the section it will ask for the confirmation for the remove then click on 'No'
15. Drag Month dimension in the blank table as well as Quantity sold, so that Quantity sold becomes a second column for this new table
16. At the end of all sections add new table or a cell (blank or preformatted)
17. Right click on the table and select Format Table
18. Select Layout. In the Relative Position section set the vertical position from the Bottom edge and position as 0 cm
19. For the 'of' drop down list you do not have the option to set the position of the table with respect to section (In this example we have end section as Year)
20. In XI 3, this option was available

• This issue has been addressed by Feature Pack 3 (FP03) for BI 4.0

Workaround:

1. Set the report in Structure Only mode
2. Add the cell or table in the position desired manually
