1658313 - Is the Sales Order Approval Supported for B2B and A2A Orders?

You would like to know if the Sales orders created via B2B and A2A messagses are considered for approval.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders view.
3. Find and open the sales order ABC. (ABC represents the ID of sales order).
4. In the General tab, the Origian is A2A Messages as the order was created from purchase order. And the Approval Status is Approval Not Necessary.

However, you have maintained approval process that if the Origin Equals to A2A Message, the order needs to be approved by the approver.

System does not support the approval of a sales order documents created via A2A messages.

The Approval for B2B Sales Orders is supported with release 2008.

As workaround, you can set the scope or condition to not allwow the automatically release of orders from A2A and B2B messages.

For sales order created from A2A message, the sales order is always released automatically once it is created unless the price in sales order is different from the price in purchase order. In that case, the sales order is In Preparation status due to warning message: Customer expected net value differs from item net value.
