You as a Project Team Member (internal employee) recorded time against a particular task and released as well, but the manager couldn’t receive the approval tasks for those Time Recordings.
There are different causes which resulted in this issue, they are
- For the Project task, if you have not set the flag for Mandatory Time Approval then the Project Manager will not receive any approval task — instead, all the times will be approved automatically.
- If a Time Administrator records Project Confirmation instead of the Project Team member in Time Administration work center, then no approval task will be sent to Manager — instead, all the times will approved automatically.
If you have not set the flag Mandatory Time Approval, then you can set now and re-release the Project Time Confirmations. Now, the approval task will go to the Project Manager for approval.
Note: project time recordings from external employees (service agents) always require approval regardless of the setting.
