When you create a Project Invoice Request from a Sales Order, the Internal Comment maintained in the Sales Order is missing in the Project Invoice Request whereas the Customer Information is available.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
- Select the Project Invoicing view and select the Sales Order sub view.
- Highlight a Sales Order and select the New button and choose Project Invoice requests.
Here the Internal Comment is missing in the New Project Invoice Request screen.
The notes entered in the Customer Information of the Sales Order will be displayed in the Project Invoice Request because this information needs to be passed on to the Invoice. Whereas the notes entered in the Internal Comments are specific to the business document. If you enter an internal comment in a Sales Order then it is specific to the Sales Order and if you enter an Internal Comment in an Invoice Request then it is specific to the Invoice Request.
This is a expected system behavior.
