When you upload times for employees through Excel add-in, the value help of Time Types column shows no data in the excel template.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Time Administration work center.
- Select the Time Recording view and the Time Sheet sub view.
- Highlight an employee and select the Action button and choose the Upload Times from Microsoft Excel.
- In the Excel, highlight a cell of Time Types column and select look up value. The list is empty.
The value help for the time type is both time and country specific. Therefore you should set Country first (e. g. DE for Germany) in the header of Excel.
Once country is set, the value help should provide appropriate time types for specified country.
