How to write a formula for field which has both negative and positive values in such a way that the negative values will display in red font while the remaining non-negative values display in the default black font.

Follow the steps below to write the conditional formula.
Right click on the field > Go To "Format Field"
Click on "Font" tab.
Click on "X+1" button for "Color" option.
Write the formula as
if currentfieldvalue < 0 then crred else crblack
Save and Close the formula editor.
Click on "OK".
Refresh the report.
