1538990 - How to change the color of negative values in Crystal Reports?


How to write a formula for field which has both negative and positive values in such a way that the negative values will display in red font while the remaining non-negative values display in the default black font.

 Follow the steps below to write the conditional formula.

  1. Right click on the field > Go To "Format Field"
  2. Click on "Font" tab.
  3. Click on "X+1" button for "Color" option.
  4.  Write the formula as 
     if currentfieldvalue < 0 then crred else crblack
  5. Save and Close the formula editor.
  6. Click on "OK".
  7. Refresh the report.
