When the user created the project <xyz> and the project tasks were named as <xxx1> and <xxx2> . Now the tasks names were changed to <yyy1> and <yyy2> but this changes is not reflected in the value help when doing time sheet entry.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Project Management work center.
- Select Edit time sheet link under Common Tasks.
- Select Value help on the task.
The shown project tasks in the value help doesnt show the correct description in the time sheet itself. Where as, in the worklist the correct description is shown.
A single change of the task name/description is not reflected in the worklist due to missing functionality.
The system is working as designed.
In current release, it is not possible that A single change of the task name/description is not reflected in the worklist.
But below steps can be followed to overcome this issue,
If changing the task name together with the task's planned period or responsible, the worklist should reflect those changes. Afterwards the planned period or the responsible can be reset to the previous content.
