1483425 - Newly Created Party Role Is Not Visible in the Value Help when Trying to Assign the Newly Created Role to the List of Involved Party

Newly created (party) role are not visible in the value help when trying to assign the newly created role to the list of involved party.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Select Open Activity button and select Fine-Tune.
4. Select activity Opportunities. A window opens.
5. Select the link Maintain Involved Parties under Involved Parties.
6. Select the button Define New Party Role. Add new party role in the new window and select Ok button.
7. Select Add Row and click the drop down arrow respective to the column Party role.

Where the newly added party role is not visible/available.

The system is working as designed.

You need to save the newly created party role before using/selecting it. Follow below step to make the newly party role available in the drop down list.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Select Open Activity button and select Fine-Tune.
4. Select activity Opportunities. A window opens.
5. Select the link Maintain Involved Parties under Involved Parties.
6. Select the button Define New Party Role. Add new party role in the new window and select Ok button.
7. Select Save button.
8. Select Add Row and click the drop down arrow respective to the column Party role.

Now you can able to find the newly added party role(s) in the drop down list.
