1472464 - Customer address as delivery address in a purchase order.

You would like to have a delivery of a purchase order at a customer address. However, the delivery address you like to have is different from the one the system is proposing.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the work center 'Purchase Requests and Orders'.

2. Select the link 'New Purchase Order' under 'Common Task'.

3. A new window would open for the purchase order.

4. Fill all the necessary details in the header and the item for the purchase order.

5. To maintain customer address as delivery address:

 a. Select the item and navigate to the subtab 'Delivery'.

 b. Select the customer ID from the value help of the field 'Customer'.

 c. The delivery address 'A' is copied from the customer ID.

 d. You need to deliver the items at address 'B'  for the customer.

The system populates the delivery address based on the data maintained in the corresponding account for the customer.

You may look for the value help functionality for different ship-to location of your customer. However, SAP ByD does not support such functionality in its current release. You need to manually modify the delivery address for the customer.

You cannot deliver a purchase order stock item at your customer address. If the purchase order item is ticked for 'To Stock', you donot see the 'Customer' field to select for delivery address. Once you untick the 'To-Stock' for the purchase order item, the customer field will be visible in the delivery tab.

Unticking the 'To-Stock' field does not make any business difference to the process. Since you are anyway making the delivery to the customer location, you need not to use the central warehouse functionality by ticking 'To-stock' option for the item.
