Excel add-in throws an error "No time agreement exists for employee" when the user tries to save the time recordings on a project by Excel upload.
Reproducing the Issue
- Make sure Excel Add-in has been successfully installed on client PC.
- Open Excel template and enter proper data.
- Click button Save Data to.
- Excel Add-in may throw error "No time agreement exists for employee".
A Project Manager usually does not have the authorization to record times for other employees. This is only possible in case he/she is either a 'Time Administrator' or a 'Line Manager of the employee(s)'.
The upload of project time recordings by Excel is currently only supported for external employees (Service Agents). It is possible to use it also for internal employees, but only by the user who has the authorization for the Work Center "Time Administration".
For doing this you may assign "Project Management" Work Center to a time administrator and ask him/her to do Excel upload, or you have the Time Administrator authorization to perform such an upload.
