1263041 - Only limited number of values are displayed for a SAP BW parameter list in Crystal Reports 2008

When viewing a report based on a SAP Bex Query with prompts: 

• Not all values for a SAP variable are displayed for selection in the prompt window in Crystal Reports 2008
• There is no possibility to further scroll down or expand the list

1. Create a report based on SAP Bex Query with variables
2. Refresh the report 

Crystal Reports 2008

• A large Picklist can take a long time to load.
• By default the number of values returned for a parameter picklist from a SAP Bex Query is limited to 200.

This resolution involves making a modification to the Windows System Registry. This is not an operation supported under normal procedures of Business Objects. Therefore we recommend that this operation only be performed under the direction of Customer Support staff. Create a backup of the System Registry before making any changes.

The default number of values to be returned can be changed in the registry:

HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP\BWQueryReportWrapper\MaxPickListSize

on a 64 bit Windows system

HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP\BWQueryReportWrapper\MaxPickListSize

Please note that the registry key does not affect InfoView
