1220160 - The Crystal Reports .NET SDK is unable to accept custom paper sizes

Symptom

The Crystal Reports .NET SDK is unable to accept custom paper sizes.

Standard or default paper size, such as letter or legal size, are accepted. But when you enter a custom paper size into the form, the form settings revert to the preferred paper size defined in the printer settings. As a result, the print results from the PrintToPrinter method are different than the results when users print from the Crystal Reports designer.

Resolution

This known issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00503586, and affects the following:

  • Crystal Reports XI Release 2
  • Crystal Reports XI
  • Crystal Reports 10

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), after settings for a custom paper size have been entered into the form, the id for that form can be assigned to the PaperSize property and the 'PrintToPrinter' function will adopt the settings.

Unless indicated otherwise, Critical Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
