When creating a report in Crystal Reports 8.5, the 'Connect to DB2' dialog box contains a 'Change Password' check box. The report is using the IBM DB2 drivers (db2cli.dll, v.7.01.00.72) to establish an ODBC connection to an IBM DB2 database. When creating the same report in Crystal Reports 9 and later, the dialog box is now called 'ODBC (RDO)' and the 'Change Password' check box has been removed.

The dialog box has changed by design. In CR 9 and later, regardless of database type, the 'ODBC (RDO)' dialog box appears when 'ODBC' is selected as a data source. In Crystal Reports 9 and later, the ODBC entry is a uniform layout so that all ODBC drivers appear to have the same input values.
To change the user's database password, open the Data Source Name (DSN) in the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator and change the value manually before making a connection to DB2 within Crystal Reports. For assistance with DSN modification, contact your Database Administrator or refer to the database documentation.
