Crystal Reports XI is installed on your computer and you need to install Service Packs and/or Hot Fixes. When the setup.exe is run, the installer shows a dialog that says "Backing Up Files" and then quits with no other messages.
In order to install Service Packs and/or Hot Fixes, follow these steps:
1. Close all programs.
2. Delete all the files and folders from the following directory:
C:\program files\common files\install shield\professional\runtime
3. Install the Service Packs and/or Hot Fixes.
