3253430 - How to Remove Extension Field From CRM Pricing

You have an extension field that is no longer going to be used and you would like to remove it from the pricing engine.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Overview view.
3. Search for Configure Price Strategy.
4. Select Pricing Table.
5. Click Add Row.
6. Enter a Custom name and the relevance.
7. Under Fields, select the dropdown.

The extension field ABC is showing in the drop-down. (ABC represents the name/ID of the extension field).

To remove the field from the drop-down list, you need to remove the CRM Pricing from the extension scenario for this field.

This is the system expected behavior.

In this example we will use Sales Orders are the origin of the field.

1. (Optional) Cancel the existing Surcharge created with this extension field.
2. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
3. Select the Overview view.
4. Search for Configure Price Strategy.
5. Select Pricing Group Assignments.
6. Remove the custom surcharge.
7. Go to the Access Sequence and remove the custom table.
8. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
9. Select the Sales Orders view.
10. Select any Sales Order document.
11. Click Edit.
12. Enter the Adaptation Mode.
13. Select Extension Fields.
14. Select the extension field ABC and go to the Extension Scenarios.
15. Remove CRM Pricing.
16. Click Save and Publish the changes.

 The extension field will now stop appearing in the Configure Price Strategy.
