3249004 - Identifying Closed Job Requisition Originators with Scheduled Termination Events via Adhoc Report - Recruiting Management

Symptom

This article explains how to create an Adhoc Report to identify users that are going to be terminated and also are part of one or more Closed Job Requisitions as Originators.

Resolution

NOTE: This article aims to demonstrate how this Report can be created but the results can differ depending on specific system configurations and definitions. If you have any questions, please contact your Implementation Partner.

  1. Go to Report > Create New
  2. Select Table and Cross Domain
  3. Select the option "Person and Employment Info (as of Date)"
  4. Under People tab, open Refine criteria and select "Other Filters"
  5. Under Columns tab, open "Add Domain" and choose "Recruiting V2"
  6. Under Relationships tab, make sure to have the associations as the following example:
  7. Back to the Columns tab, under "Person and Employment Info (as of Date)" domain, select any information regarding the user you wish to see, including "Employment Details Termination Date" from the entity "Job Information". This column will pull the Termination Date from the user.
  8. Under "Recruiting V2" domain, select any Job Requisition ID and Requisition Status columns. Both columns are from the "Job Requisition" entity.
  9. Now, go to Filters tab
  10. Under "Person and Employment Info (as of Date)" domain, select again "Employment Details Termination Date" and filter by:
    1. Select "By Rule"
    2. Add Rule
    3. "Greater than or equal to" under the dropdown
    4. In the date field, insert the date you wish to filter from
  11. Under "Recruiting V2" domain, select "Operator Type" from the entity "Job Req Operator" and filter by:
    1. My Selection
    2. Select "Job Req Originator"
  12. Again under "Recruiting V2" domain, select "Requisition Status" from the "Job Requisition" entity and filter by: (This step is not required. If you don't filter by the Requisition Status, all Job Requisitions will be returned).
    1. My Selection
    2. Select "Closed"
  13. All the steps are done. Click on "Preview" to verify if the report is working and the data has returned.

If you are not familiar from Reports, attached to this article you can find a .sfr file which can be used to import the Report directly to your system. Please make sure to verify if the set of Filters meet your desired conditions.
