3167293 - Data Access Control Settings are lost after disabling and enabling DAC in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

The following behaviour occurs after disabling and re-enabling Dimension based Data Access Control in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• Previous entries in Read / Write Columns are removed

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.2.x

1. Navigate to Browse > Models > “Select Model” > Model Structure > “Select Dimension” > “Data Access Control” under “Rights / Access”
2. Turn on the "Data Access Control" option
3. In the "Read / Write" Columns, enter a User or Team which you wish to give access for a specific Dimension Member
4. Save the Model
5. Turn off the "Data Access Control" option
6. Save the Model
7. Turn on the "Data Access Control" option
8. Observe the previously entered entries in the Read / Write columns are removed

This behaviour is currently by design.
