3050645 - How To Delete Local Solution Data for an Add-On Solution

Symptom

The Add-On Solution Data is corrupt / incorrect on your local machine and you want to retrieve the most recent Solution Data from the SAP back end.

Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Cause

Resolution

  1. Log into the SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
  2. Go to Administrator in the toolbar and select Options and Settings...
  3. In SAP > General, select the Runtime Metadata tab and click "Clear Cache".

If the issue is still not resolved, try these additional steps:

  1. Right-Click the Solution name under Project Explorer and select Open Folder in File Explorer.
  2. Close the Cloud Applications Studio.
  3. Back in the File Explorer, navigate up to the System Name.
  4. Delete the folders associated with the Solution ID.

The default Projects location is: C:\Users\_USERNAME_\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Projects

The folders will be re-created with the most recent Solution Data from the SAP back end the next time the Solution is loaded.
