 Following Error Occurs When Saving a Custom Pricing Table: Please enter field List Identifier as the first item in the key field.

SAP Business ByDesign

1.  Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementations Projects view.
3. Click the Open Activity List.
4. Open the Configure Price Strategy activity.
5. Open Pricing Tables.
6. Click Add Row and enter CUSXYZ with Relevance Item Level (CUSXYZ represents the Pricing Table).
7. In the Fields section click on Add Row
8. Add the Extension Field on first place and the List Identifier on second place. 
9. Click on the Save button. 
10. The following error occurs:
    Please enter field List Identifier as the first item in the key field.

This is the system expected behavior.

• If you are creating the pricing table for price list or discount list, then you must select List Identifier as the first row under the Fields table, followed by the extension field.
• If you are creating the pricing table for surcharge or freight, then the first row must be the extension field and the List Identifier should not be added.

• To correct this for discount or price lists, please create a custom Item level table, add List Identifier as the first field and proceed by adding the other expected fields, being standard or custom.
• To correct this for surcharge or freight list, please create a custom Item level table, add extension field as the first field and proceed by adding the other expected fields, being standard or custom.
