2945529 - Error: Item XX: Products w/ item group Service - time and material not supported for location of srv provision Supplier Service Center

When you add an Item with type SECO - Service - time and material in a Service Order and you receive the error message: Item XX: Products w/ item group Service - time and material not supported for location of srv provision Supplier Service Center

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Orders Worck Center - Service Order Processing View
2. Open Service Order ABC (where ABC stands for service order you created) 
3. Add Item XX (where XX stands for the item with type SECO - Service - time and material)
4. Error : "Item XX: Products w/ item group Service - time and material not supported for location of srv provision Supplier Service Center" occurrs.

The item type SECO - Service - time and material is not supported for Service Location Supplier. It cannot be processed in the Service Order for Location of Service Provision "Supplier".

The following item types available in service orders cannot be processed by Location of Service Provision "At Supplier Service Center".

• CONS - Spare part - consumable
• DIGI - Spare part - direct goods issue
• PICK - Spare part - engineer pick-up or sales
• SECO - Service - time and material
• SEFL - Service - fixed price without actuals
• SERV - Service - fixed price
• SHIP - Spare part - advanced ship or sales
• XACT - Expense - time and material
• XFIX - Expense - fixed price without actuals

This is the standard system behavior.
