2929962 - All changes made in SSC-UI will be captured in the current change project

You are wondering if it is possible to exclude some changes made in SSC-UI from a transport (the currect change project) from Q to P.

All changes made in the configuration steps in the Q system will be transported to the P system irrespective of their status (Confirmed or Open) or type (Mandatory/Optional/Recommended).

Whatever change you make in an SSC-UI will be captured in the current change project. When you release the change project by pressing the 'Proceed to Deploy Phase' or 'Proceed to Run Phase' button in 'Manage Your Solution' app, all the changes that were captured in the current change project are deployed to the Productive System. The SSC-UIs you have selected when pressing the button do not have any influence on the objects transported. It is the actions performed since creating a new change project that matter. In general, we do not transport all the objects related to all of the SSC-UIs, unless changes in all of them were recorded on the current change project. In case the change project was open while an update or upgrade was performed, content related to the update or upgrade may be moved to the Productive System together with the customer changes.

Please note, in the Realize phase, in order to move to next phase, all the mandatory configuration steps and configuration items need to be confirmed, even if no changes have been made in them. It is required to confirm all the mandatory configuration items and steps to initiate the transport to the Production system. Changes made in an optional or recommended configuration step do not need to be confirmed, they will get transferred to the Production system regardless of their status.

In the Change phase, you do not need to set the status of a configuration step or item. Changes you make in a configuration step will be transferred to the Production system, regardless of its status.

Confirming Mandatory Configuration
