2910573 - Sales Kit is Not Supported in Opportunities

Symptom

You are not able to add a Sales Kit in an Opportunity. When using the value help the Sales Kit is not available for selection and when entering the ID of the Sales Kit manually the following error occurs:

Item XX: Products with item group Sales Kit not supported

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

Go to the New Business work center.
Under the Common Tasks select New Opportunity.
Enter the respective data.
In the Items tab enter the ID of the Sales Kit and press enter.
The following error occurs:

Item XX: Products with item group Sales Kit not supported (XX represents the Line Item number).

Cause

Sales Kits are currently not supported in Opportunities.

Resolution

This is a new requirement.
