SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
Customer created Multiple MDF alert but there are no alerts being received.

Environment
- SAP Successfactors HXM Suite
- Metadata framework (MDF)
Resolution
If you are configuring multiple alerts, you should create an instance for the object MDFAlertType.
- Go to "Manage Data"
- Create New > Search for MDFAlertType
- Enter externalCode and externalName and Save.
Assign the MDFAlertType you have created to Business rule used to trigger the MDF alert as shown below
