2848659 - How to trigger manually Employee Master Data and Organizational Assignments replication from EC to S/4 HANA Cloud

In S/4HANA Cloud systems integrated with Employee Central (Successfactors), you may need to trigger manually the replication of Employee Master Data and Organizational Assignments. It might be necessary to do it due:

• Data inconsistency between EC and S/4 HANA Cloud.
• Previous replication failed.
• Scheduled replications are not enough.

Successfactors Employee replication into S/4HANA Public Cloud

If you need to trigger an additional replication process, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the tile "Schedule Jobs for EC Data Replication"
2. Click on the plus button, "New"
3. Fill the following data:
1. In the section General Information:
1. Job Template: Replicate Employee Master Data and Organizational Assignments
   
2. In the section Scheduling Options:
1. Start Immediately: Yes (Flag activated)
3. In the section Parameters:
1. Change date: (Fill this field if you want to pick all the employees with any change from a date, the change date cannot be later than the last modified date)
2. External Employee ID: (Fill this field if you want to specify the employee to be replicated. This triggers a full load for the employee, independently of when the data was modified for the last time) 

3. If you don't enter any parameters here, the first run of this program triggers a full load. The time stamp of each program execution is stored as last modified date and each subsequent program execution only replicates employee records with a time stamp newer than this last modified date, thus triggering only a delta replication

4. Click on Schedule

The replication process should trigger the Business Partner synchronization (if there is any relevant change in the master data), the logs for this process can be reviewed in the app "Monitor Data Synchronization".

If the Replication is not working when leaving both Parameters empty, probably the query has Status "In Process" or "Sent" (for a long period of time). In the app Reset Replication Requests - Employee Master Data and Organizational Assignment the status can be checked and reset them by changing the status to Failed.
