2827524 - Import Tool - Import failed due to field maximum length exceeded

Admins are uploading data via Import Tool and it returns a message saying the field maximum length was exceeded.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Download the sample file under:
1. System Admin>
2. Tools>
3. Import Data>
4. Under Action, select Download Template>
5. Under Record Type, select the desired file>
6. Click Submit.
2. Fill the required fields
3. Now go to:
1. System Admin>
2. Tools>
3. Import Data>
4. Under Action, select Import Data>
5. Fill all other required fields as well we selecting the filled file.
4. Proceed till it finishes the import process
5. Check the results
6. Failure message will be inside the file
7. You may download the results and check the error
   
   

There is a limitation for each field in the file. To confirm the correct length, just hover the mouse over the field header and it will give you the correct value.

After confirming the length, file may be edited to the correct value.
