2826293 - Country code showing Instead of Country Name for Country Fields

For all country fields (New Hire Wizard: Personal Information Portlet, Personal Info Portlet itself, National ID Field, Nationality, Country of Birth Field) country codes showing instead of country name.

SAP Successfactors Employee Central

This issue is caused by securing the Country Object under Configure Object Definitions. The root cause is that the user does not have view permission for the Country object - in which case, the system will not load the countries - and thus cannot find the name, and the fallback label is the country code.

If the country Object is secured, please ensure that users are provided with at least view permissions for the country object.  In order to set RBP permissions for an MDF Object you can check the KBA 2816435 - RBP permissions for MDF Object.
