2822787 - Manage Billing Documents Output Items "Preview" differs from "Display Document" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

After adding new text items to a billing document in the 'Manage Billing Documents' app, the 'Display Document' button for a completed output item leads to a different document display as the "Preview" button.

S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to the 'Manage Billing Documents' app
2. Open a billing document
3. Go to the 'Texts' tab
4. Click 'Edit' and add new text items
5. Go to the 'Output Items' tab
6. Click the PDF icon 'Display Document':

-> The added text items are missing on the displayed document:

8. Click 'Preview':

→ Text items are shown on the displayed document

The 'Preview' always shows the actual data, while the 'Display Document' shows the data when the output was created.

1. Go to 'Change Billing Documents' app
2. Select the billing document
3. Click 'Continue'
4. Go to 'More' → 'Goto' → 'Header' → 'Output' or click the 'Printer' button (Display output request) or Press 'Shift + F8'

5. Click 'Add output'

6. Enter the output details
7. Click 'Display PDF Document'

→ The text will be shown

8. Go back
9. Save the billing document
10. Go to 'Manage Billing Documents' app
11. Open the billing document
12. Go to the 'Output Items' tab
13. Click the PDF icon 'Display Document'
→ The added text items are now shown on the displayed document
14. Click 'Preview'
→ The added text items are shown on the displayed document
