2788018 - Import Master Layout Across Tenants In Different Releases

You would like to transfer master layout from Quality Assurance tenant to Productive tenant. However when trying this a message error appears: "You cannot activate a request that you created in a different release"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Quality Assurance tenant release XXXX.
2. Click in Adapt menu then Export Layout.
3. After download the master layout, go to Prod tenant release YYYY.
4. Click in Adapt menu then Import Layout.
5. Error message appears.

The system does not support content transfer and UTM transfer across different releases. When you try to import page layout from a tenant in a different release the system will brings the following log message: "You cannot activate a request that you created in a different release".

This is an expected behavior of the system, there are critical checks that cannot been skipped by the system considering the inconsistencies that this content transfer across different releases can cause.
