2775231 - Is it Possible to Hide Peers in the Goal Plan User Search? - Goal Management

• Peers are visible in the Goal Plan User Search post-b1902 Release (TGM-8502).
• Is it possible to hide Peers from being displayed in the Goal Plan User Search?

Prior to the b1902 Release, Peers did not display in the User Search drop-down menu.

It was still possible to view a Peer's goal plan by searching for them by name in the Goal Plan User Search:

As of the b1902 Release, Peers will now show up in the search result without the requirement to search for them by name.

Example:

It is possible to hide Peers from displaying in the the Goal Plan User Search.

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Searh for Platform Feature Settings
3. Enable "Hide Peers":

• This setting also controls the display of Peers in Employee Files and the Career Development Plan. See also 2317478

Notes:

• The display of Peers in the search result will not automatically grant permission to view the Peer's goal plan.
• Whether a Peer's goal plan can be accessed is dependent on the Employee's role-based permissions. 
• If the Employee does not have permission to view their Peer's goal plan, they will get the error message "You do not have permission to access this user's goal plan!".
