2774180 - Product Description is not Recognized When Using Paste Function in Fiori

You are using the paste functionality to add products in Fiori, but when you paste the product data none of them are recognized.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Copy your product list from Microsoft Excel or Notepad.
2. Open an opportunity.
3. Go to products tab inside the opportunity.
4. Click the paste icon.
5. A message stating the entried are not valied shows up.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

The paste function in Fiori expects the product ID as the first information received for each product pasted.

If the first column in the product table is not "Product": change the table column order to show it as the first column.

If the information pasted does not start with the product ID: change the information to start with the product ID.

Note: Even though the Product / Title field accepts the product description to be typed in, the paste function was designed to only accepts the ID.

Make sure also that no Columns are set as Read-Only, or else it will give the error that Product is not valid.
