2773106 - Learning Plan Notification Behavior with Curriculum Retraining

Symptom

  • Upon completion of an item in a curriculum, the next time the Learning Plan Notification Automatic Process runs, the users receive a Learning Plan notification.
  • This notification informs the user that there has been a modification to their Learning Plan.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a curriculum >
  2. Add an item to the curriculum >
  3. Edit the information to include retraining such as 365 days >
  4. Assign the curricula to a user that has a valid email >
  5. Trigger the Learning Plan Notification Automatic Process and receive the notification >
  6. Complete the item that has the retraining set >
  7. Trigger the Learning Plan Notification Automatic Process and receive the notification >
  8. The notification includes the item that was just completed.

Cause

This is expected behavior because the item requirement date has been modified.

Resolution

If a change in behavior is desired please follow the Enhancement Request process outlined in KB article 2090228.
