2770265 - Bulk Create Candidates from .CSV File - Failing with "Entity CandidateByCSVUpload is not found" error - Recruiting Management

After configuring all the required configurations for "RCM Q1 2019 feature - Bulk Create Candidates from .CSV File", while trying to import the candidate using the .csv file getting an error "Entity CandidateByCSVUpload is not found".

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Log in to SF -> Home -> Recruiting
2. Go to Candidates.
3. Add Candidates -> Bulk Create Candidates from .CSV file
4. Add the mandatory details "Batch Name", select a file to upload, click on upload file and error comes up.

The solution for this case is Metadata Refresh. However, CandidateByCSVUpload Entity is restricted so normal Metadata Refresh won't work.

Kindly follow these steps:
** the user performing those steps must also have the permission "Bulk Create Candidates from .CSV file" **

1. Open any browser
2. On the URL, type in "<API Server URL>/odata/v2/restricted/refreshMetadata" -> Press Enter

3. A pop up will ask for the credentials
4. Provide the API login credentials using the following format
• Username: <username@companyId>
• Password: <Password>
5. Wait until the browser tab stops spinning -> The authentication is successful if no error is displayed (blank page)
6. Once done, go to Admin Center -> OData API Metadata Refresh and Export
7. Click on Refresh
