2768761 - Not Able to Enable Mass Uploading Candidate Resumes in Recruiting

• After enabling "Resume Parsing" and "Recruiting Users to Mass Upload Candidate Resumes", the option to create a candidate profile using resume parsing is still not available
• When trying to mass upload, the following error is received: "The attachment failed to upload. Please try again."
• Role Base Permissions to enable "Mass Uploading Candidate Resumes" are missing

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings
2. Under Candidate Profile Settings, enable Resume Parsing and Recruiting Users to Mass Upload Candidate Resumes
3. Go to Manage Permissions Role > Recruiting Permissions
4. The option 'Mass Upload Candidate Resumes' is not available to be enabled
5. Go to Recruiting > Candidate tab and check that the 'Add Candidate' via resume option is not available

The ‘Configure Document Management’ option is not enabled in Provisioning and no vendor is configured for document storage

IMPORTANT: The following requires Provisioning access. Please reach out to your Implementation Partner for assistance.

To enable 'Configure Document Management', the following configurations are required.

In Provisioning:

1. Go to Company Settings.
2. Enable 'Enable Document Management Service'.

In Admin Center:

Note: Give RBP permission for 'Document Management Service' first.

1. In Admin Center, open Manage Permission Role
2. Open the role you want to give this permission
3. Under Administrator Permissions > Configure Document Management
4. Select Configure Document Management
5. Go back to Admin Center > Configure Document Management
6. Select a vendor (If you are not using third party document management, then your setting will be ‘SuccessFactors’)

Note: Please make certain there is a value for step 6. If it is missing it will lead to Resume Viewer error. Check KB article 2840389

After setting the 'Document Management' configuration, configure 'Mass Uploading Candidate Resumes' again:

1. Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings
2. Under Candidate Profile Settings, enable Resume Parsing and Recruiting Users to Mass Upload Candidate Resumes
3. You need to perform a OData API Metadata Refresh to update the Role Base Permissions
1. Admin Center -> OData API Metadata Refresh And Export
2. Next to Cache, click on the Refresh Button
3. Wait until the job finishes
4. Go to Manage Permissions Role > Open the role you want to give this permission > Recruiting Permissions
5. Select 'Mass Upload Candidate Resumes'
6. Again go to Manage Permission Roles > Manage Integration Tools > OData API Attachment Import
7. Go back to Recruiting > Candidate tab, the option should be enabled now and the user will be able to successfully perform the mass upload resumes
