2756842 - An internal server error occurred in the Data Acquisition Service in SAP Analytics Cloud

The following error occurs when an import data connection is created in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• An internal server error occurred in the Data Acquisition Service

This error is also seen in the Chrome Development tools Network tab:

• {"result":"{\"status\":\"ERROR\",\"errors\":[{\"code\":\"ERROR_CONNECT_TO_BPC\",\"rawError\":\"There is no SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) connected to your subaccount. Requested  opening of a tunnel for subaccount \\\"<subaccount id>\\\" and default SCC location ID, that is, empty string or simply not configured. Check the configuration on SCC and cloud side.\",\"params\":[]}],\"httpStatus\":503}"}

• SAP Analytics Cloud

The "Location ID" was not blank / empty in the SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Connector configuration.

• Remove the value (leave it blank) in the location ID field in the SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Connector (SAPCP SCC).
