Symptom
After executing an AdHoc Report for App Status Audit Trail, the information is not matching with the Application Status Audit Trail under the Application Profile.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All Versions
Reproducing the Issue
- In a Job Requisition, move a candidate in the Applicant Status pipeline.
- Now check the Application Status Audit Trail.
- Execute a Report for the Application Status for this specific candidate.
- See the information is not matching.
Cause
This "extra" status which are appearing in the Report, they are Skipped Status and this status are the ones which are in middle of the selected status. For example, the candidate is moved from status 2 (New) to status 8 (Interview), and all the statuses in between (3,4,5,6,7), those will be the Skipped Status. There is a switch in Manage Recruiting Settings that hides the Skipped Status in the Application Profile, but this feature does not apply for AdHoc reports.
Resolution
There is no option to only show the non-skippeds for Reports. To avoid any misunderstanding, when executing a report for Application Status, select the option "Skipped Status" in the "App Status Audit Trail" category, this will show which status are the skipped ones and the non-skippeds.
