2743996 - A2A Sales Orders are Released Automatically

You created an Intercompany Sales Order which came from a Purchase Order and the Sales Order is released automatically.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Select the Purchase Orders view.
3. Search for ID ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Purchase Order).
4. Click the Order button.
5. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
6. Select the Sales Orders view.
7. Search for ID XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the Sales Order).

The Sales Order status is showing as released.

For Sales Orders created from an A2A message, the Sales Order is always released automatically once it is created unless:

• the Sales Order is inconsistent.
• the price in Sales Order is different from the price in Purchase Order. In this case, the Sales Order remains with the In Preparation status due to the warning message: Customer expected net value differs from item net value.

This is the system expected behavior.
