2731170 - Image Upload Size in Administrator Mobile Settings Extended App Is Not Reflected in Runtime Attachments of a Survey

You defined an option for Image Upload Size in the Mobile Settings Extended App hyperlink of the Administrator work center. You expected that, when opening a Survey that has in its design Runtime attachments,  this option would be defaulted when trying to do an image upload.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Administrator Work Center.
2. Open the Mobile Settings hyperlink.
3. Select ABC for Image Upload Size and/or Offline Image Upload Size (where ABC is Original, Small, Medium or Large).
4. Click in the Save button.
5. Open the Fiori (RUI) UI.
6. Open the Surveys work center.
7. Open Survey DEF (where DEF is the Survey ID of a Survey that has a question with the Runtime Attachments flag defined in its Add Item pop-up).
8. Click in the Simulation button.
9. Click in the Clip icon in the lower menu bar.

You expected to see ABC in the dropdown menu of the Attachments pop-up.

Surveys do not consider the settings defined in the steps 2-4 (Mobile Settings Extended App). However, once you select an image upload size and Submit the survey, all the other surveys for your current user will consider this last selected size. Please note that attachments in Surveys are only available in RUI.

This is the standard behavior of the system.
