2709773 - Complete Delivery Order With Multiple Deliveries

You have marked your sales order for Complete Delivery, you see that the system has created multiple deliveries for the order instead of one as per your expectation.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the Outbound Deliveries view.
3. Search for the outbound deliveries against the Complete Delivery order you created.

You can see there are more than one outbound delivery in the system for your order.

In a Complete Delivery order all items are expected to have the same requested date, ship-to address, and freight forwarder so that the items can be delivered at the same time. The system changes the delivery rule for all the items in the order to Single Delivery -  full quantity and treats all the item with the same requested date, ship-to address and freight forwarder as the same Delivery Group. However, if there is a change in the Shipment Date for the items in the orders or a change in Freight Forwarder, the delivery group will be changed by the system. This means that items in the same delivery group will be delivered together.

So it is completley possible that a Complete Delivery order which has line items in different delivery groups can have multiple delivery created for each of the delivery groups.  You will be able to see the assigned delivery group for a line item in the Delivery Group column in the Item tab of sales order. If you are not able to see the column, please personalise the screen and make the column visible.

You have to make sure that all the items in the sales order has the same requested date, ship-to address, freight forwarder  and shipment date so that the items are set to the same Delivery Group.
