2707460 - How to add a curricula based on the job code?

It is desired to understand how to have a curricula added to the Learning user based on the job code.

Automatically assign a curricula based on a job code can be achieved via the "Add curricula to users who are assigned this job code" option, available when adding the curricula to the job code. To proceed so, those are the steps:

1. Log into HXM > navigate to Learning Administration > References > People Management > Job Codes >
2. Search for the required job code > open in the edit mode > go to the Curricula tab >
3. Click on the "add one or more from list" and search the curricula to be added to the job code >
4. Before adding the curricula, tick the option "Add curricula to users who are assigned this job code" if you want to add a curriculum to users who are currently associated with the job position >
5. Check the curricula "Add" checkbox > hit Add

If it is desired to understand how to have a curricula added to the user based on the alternate job code:

The curricula from an alternate job code would only get assigned to the user through an assignment profile (AP), where it has the alternate job code as the rule and the curricula added to the AP's curricula section.

Note: This process currently assigns to inactive users

As a workaround, we recommend:

1. Unchecking the "Add curricula to users who are assigned this job code" (at the job code's record > Summary page > then Apply Changes);
2. Using only assignment profiles for curricula assignment, since it will not assign to inactive users then.
