2686643 - Position Management: How to Terminate an Incumbent of a Position who is the HR Manager for multiple employees

When you Terminate  an Incumbent of a Position who is the HR Manager for multiple employees, you are presented with the option to "Transfer Job Relationships". If this option is used, then the Job Relationships will be transferred but the Matrix Relationships will not be updated on the respective incumbents Positions.

1. Navigate to an employee that is the HR Manager for multiple employees
2. Select "Actions" and "Terminate"
3. Set an Effective Date
4. Scroll down and you can "Transfer Job Relationships"
5. Take no actions and approve the Termination

Result - The Related Persons HR Manager is updated but the Related Persons Position > Matrix Relationships is not updated

This is currently expected behaviour. As it stands to date, the Termination UI does not support updating the Position Matrix Relationships during the Termination action.

The solution is to action the following process, to ensure that the Related Persons Matrix Relationships on their Position are updated with the new HR Manager correctly:

1. Terminate the HR Manager, and during the Termination set the "Terminate Relationship" to Yes for all "Transfer Job Relationships" (warning: this will remove the HR Manager from the Job Relationships of the related employees).
2. Once the Incumbent is Terminated, Hire the new Incumbent to the HR Manager Position
3. Then once the Hire is approved, the system will synchronize the new Incumbent of the HR Manager Position to the Incumbents of other Positions that have that Position set as their HR Manager relationship. This will then in turn update Job Relationships with the new HR Manager

 NOTE: If you set "Terminate Relationship" to "No" (the default) then the Position Matrix Relationships and Job Relationships will be "out of sync" until the HR Manager Position is filled again.
