2646755 - PDI Analytical Extensions Missing in Target

You have created some PDI analytical extensions, i.e. you created PDI fields and then added them to a data source. After a patch deployment you notice that the fields are missing in the data source in the target system.

1. Logon to the target system.
2. Go to the Business Analytics work center, view Design Reports.
3. Open the report in question.

It does not contain some PDI fields which you had added to the same data source in the source system.

You have removed the field from the data source in the test system and then created a patch. On deploying the patch, the extension fields will also be removed from the data sources in the target.

This is the correct behaviour - the extension field availability is the same in the source and target. You would need to add the fields back to the data source in the source, create a patch and deploy it to the target system.
