2594749 - How to use Value Lookup Table in Integration Center

Symptom

Customer requirement is to assign custom output values / codes for the standard output of query fields on an Integration Center output file.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Integration Center

Reproducing the Issue

Need to assign custom values on output fields in the Integration Center job.

Resolution

  1. Go to add value look up table;
  2. Create New table;
    1. Add Title and description;
    2. Create Table to assign custom values to each corresponding output reference value of the field.

See Figure A. For reference:

Note: Be aware that the values on the input code row are case sensitive.

Note 2: If the input is a field of type 'Edm.Boolean', you should use the input code 1 to represent 'true', and 0 to represent 'false'.

Note 3: If a value is not configured with a Input Code/Output Code, it will be returned as blank in the integration result. Example below:

You have these two values:

emplStatus.jpg

But you only configure one of them in the Value Lookup Table:

The value which is not configured returns with a blank value in the result:
