Company Structure Overview: Create Entity from Company Structure Overview

Users would like to create entities in the Company Structure Overview to benefit from the direct visualization. Depending on user’s Role-Based Permissions, they now can create a new child entity via Side Panel menu icon.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Company Structure Overview

In 1711 release (ECT-71756), a new permission and function are added to Company Structure Overview, to allow the creation of Parent and Child Entities directly in the CSO chart.

Only entities that are configured as a child of the selected entity in the corresponding Company Structure and the user has CREATE Role-Based Permission to the Child object, will appear in the Create pop-up.

How to enable the Permission?

To grant the permission to be able to "Create Entity from Company Structure Overview":

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
2. Select the Role in which you wish to grant the new permission
3. Click the "Persmissions...." button
4. Scroll down to "Company Structure Overview"
5. Select "Create Entity from Company Structure Overview"
6. Click Done
7. Click Save Changes
