2555980 - Cannot Create Target Groups from Custom Reports

You have created a custom report which shows either contacts or accounts, and you would like to export them into a target group. However, the options Export All Accounts To New Target Group and Export All Contacts To New Target Group are not available. Another scenario is that these options are available, however no account or contact is exported.

• SAP Cloud for Customer
• SAP Business ByDesign

1. Open your custom report from the respective work center.
2. Start the report. Make sure that the Account / Contact characteristic is part of the report view.
3. Click on the account or contact.

Scenario 1: In the navigation targets, you will not see an option to export to a new target group.

Scenario 2: You can click on Export All Accounts / Contacts To New Target Group, however in the new target group, no accounts / contacts are listed.

Currently, exporting accounts / contacts to target groups from custom reports is not supported.
